Halloween

I know that it's past the deadline for a New Year's resolution, but I've been trying to back-date my postings to cover some of the things I did last year. For all of you that have been patiently waiting, thank you! I promised I would get them up soon!

Every Halloween, after I insist that Kris dress up as Captain Jack Sparrow, (because he could be Johnny Depp's twin) we carve pumpkins. This past October we were lucky enough to have Kris' cousin Alex join us in our creative tradition. Even though we had seeds and pumpkin strings strewn all over the kitchen counters, it was all worth the mess after seeing our final creations.
P.S.
Just because you have a pattern that shows EXACTLY where to make your cuts for the image on a pumpkin DOES NOT mean it will be equally as easy...
